Saturday saw the successful launch of the first 'If on a winter's night a traveller' installment:

'Groundings' an Alex Duncan and Ryan Moule collaboration, accompanied by a small publication.

Live music from folk musicians Lorraine King and Emily Jones provided the atmosphere, combined with the buzz of the gathering, Forge Road felt positively vibrant...depsite the weather!

Get down and have a look if you haven't already, 'Groundings' will be up until the end of April.

More pictures in the Projects gallery... thanks to all involved.

If on a winter's night a traveller...

Italo Calvino’s seminal 80’s novel “If on a winter’s night a traveller”; explores characters who are involved in the process of creation, construction and consumption. It is an idea within an idea, tale within a tale. It is within this context that the artists are encouraged to explore ideas and produce objects/ images that echo Calvino’s concepts.
Colony presents a series of responses in 'The Boxes' on Forge Road.
